The Medical Council of Jamaica.Full Load, Built to Expand.
Frequent grid outages were disrupting the Council's work. The building has a flat concrete slab roof already crowded with water tanks, plumbing runs and air-conditioning condensers.
Instead of protecting only a few essential circuits, we designed the system to carry the building's normal working load with headroom, and with inverter and array capacity to expand as demand grows. The array was laid out around the existing obstructions in tilted portrait rows, balancing yield against wind loading on an exposed roof.
Indoors, the hybrid inverter is wall-mounted with dedicated DC and AC disconnects, surge and overcurrent protection and a labelled connection to the existing distribution board. The lithium battery modules sit beside it, placed for ventilation and service access.
A system the client can rely on for decades: correctly sized, properly protected, and documented well enough for any competent technician to service.
